Animal experience you can trust

Animals and pets has always been a passion of mine. Since I was young I’ve always loved learning about and taking care of animals. I began working with animals in 1999 when I became an animal trainer with Sea Life Park Hawaii. I had the privilege of working and swimming with Dolphins, Sea Lions, Monk Seals, Penguins, Sea birds, and Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles.

In 2002 I transition my animal experience to working with horses. I worked as a groom for a 21 horse barn for the Waimanalo Polo Club. Not only did I care for, exercise, feed and handle the upkeep of each horse, I also assisted in the organization and scheduling of events related to the facility and operations of the barn and games associated to the Polo Club. I also worked as liaison to the equestrian veterinarian in assisting and providing health care to all the horses within the barn.

I became a Vet Tech in 2012 working closely with companion animals such as dogs and cats. That gave me the opportunity take my love and experience working for animals to the next level. As a vet tech, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and learn the skills needed to administer health care to all kinds of animals in need. 

I decided to start my business, The Walking Dog Kailua, so I could share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners all over the Kailua area. You can trust that with my many years of animal experience I will have your pets best interest at heart. Whether it's dog walking or pet sitting while your away on vacation, keeping your pet happy and healthy is my top priory. Let's go walking!
